One
of the
biggest
problems
I have
had with
building
and
growing
a
business
is
getting
bogged
down in
the
daily
grind.
If you
have an
on line
business
there is
always
advertising
to be
done,
email to
be
answered
and
projects
to be
completed.
Seems
like
there is
never
enough
time in
the day
to get
them all
done.
The to
do list
grows
bigger
each and
every
day.
Time
management
skills
help to
improve
that.
Unfortunately,
that
would
take an
entire
series
of
articles
to cover
that
topic.
There is
just one
small
aspect
of that
to be
addressed
here
today.
That is
prioritizing
yourself.
I can
always
tell
when I
stop
feeding
my
brain.
What I
mean by
that is
taking
the time
to learn
something
new. If
all I am
doing is
pushing
to
complete
my to do
list and
working
my butt
off my
mind
starts
to
cramp.
Feeding
my mind
new
ideas,
differing
viewpoints,
in
general
anything
to make
it
stretch
is as
important
as
exercising
your
muscles.
Taking
the time
to read
a book
on a
related
topic to
your
business
or on
something
you
enjoy
doing or
would
like to
know
more
about,
helps to
keep
your
mind
stretched.
It
always
amazes
me how
taking a
half
hour for
me to
improve
my
knowledge
always
comes
back
about
3-4
times
over. If
I take
the time
to do
this
each day
I just
become
much
more
efficient
once I
settle
down to
work.
It is
really
hard
sometimes,
especially
if you
are up
against
a
deadline,
to make
the time
for
yourself.
The
surprising
thing is
that
when I
do it
even
when I
am sure
it is
time I
can't
afford
my mind
just
seems to
focus
and give
back
that
time
many
times
over.
Do
yourself
a favor
and
schedule
yourself
some
time to
exercise
your
brain
every
day and
see if
it
doesn't
come
back in
increased
efficiency
for the
rest of
your
day.
Schedule
yourself
in to
your
daily
schedule
as your
priority
number
one.
Your
mind
will
thank
you.
